We are committed to strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensure that our operations not only meet, but often exceed the highest environmental, health, and safety (“EHS”) regulatory standards in the industry. Our comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs include:

• We make substantial investments in our EHS program every year. We spend more than $19.2 million per year on EHS improvements and approximately 9% of onsite employees at each facility are focused on EHS-related roles.
• Our facilities also include advanced on-site hygiene facilities that contain separate clean and dirty locker rooms, showers and laundry services, on-site clinics, body vacuums, handwash stations, and lead-check stations that help detect and prevent lead dust from leaving the facilities.
• Plant workers also participate in regular health monitoring, including initial employment physicals, blood-lead level monitoring, and ongoing testing. Our blood lead management policies are significantly more rigorous than required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) and require testing with twice the frequency as required by law.
• Working with environmental agencies to install multiple layers of high-tech air quality monitoring systems surrounding our facilities.
